This week I got staffed on my case at Bain! I wanted to give you guys a run-down of what this experience has been like. What I am working on My team is helping a really big company make their internal technologies more effective and efficient in the long-run.
Hi Michael, thanks for sharing. I'm from Chile and I just want to ask you what made you decide Consulting over Investment Banking. I'm experiencing the same doubts you did and so far I've no idea what to do haha. Thanks!
Hi Michael, thanks for sharing, this sounds amazing! I just wanted to ask what you feel are some effective ways to learn about/understand an industry or company?
google! haha for industries, there are a bunch of market research reports and for companies you'd want to look at their website and annual filings if they are public
Your internship seems to be going great, thanks for sharing Michael! I never thought they'd be so many people working on an engagement! I look forward to your mails in the coming weeks!
Super interesting and informative. Thanks for sharing, Michael. While reading, I began to wonder how your role varies from the roles of your other colleagues working on the case with you. Would be awesome if you could get back to me about that. Thanks again.
in short - we all focus on a specific piece of what becomes a puzzle. the more tenured consultants manage the team and make sure things are moving forward and build the relationship with the client

Very interesting, thanks for sharing Michael! I didn't expect the 150 powerpoint slides (wow!).
you'd be surprised how good you get at skimming and picking out the most relevant information!
we learn most of that on the job! I didn't do any training beforehand
